The answer fires on match
There is no Enter key: the moment the typed digits equal an answer on screen the item explodes. A digit that can lead to no answer counts as a wrong answer at once, so the game trains committing to a result rather than typing and checking.
- Every value on screen is unique, so you always know which item you are answering
- The gold frame shows the one item the typed digits would fire at
From single digits to BODMAS
Values use the digits 0 to 5 through Level 50 and 0 to 9 through Level 100, then double figures creep in. Subtraction, multiplication, exact division and negative answers unlock by maths level, and every fifth level is a BODMAS level where the order of operations decides the answer.
Choosing a world size, difficulty and maths level
Smaller worlds are faster at the bottom; larger worlds fill with more items. Difficulty changes healing only and the maths level changes the sums only, so every ranking stays comparable within its own table.
COMPARISON
Choose the approach that fits
| Approach | Useful for | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Number Mayhem | Quick, accurate mental arithmetic under time pressure | Not a structured lesson plan |
| Flash cards or drills | Memorising tables and number facts | Little pressure or replay value |
| Puzzle apps | Logic and pattern spotting | No speed element |
