Getting started with Archive Verify Creator

Select an archive, choose manifest output and create SHA-256 verification data with optional Enhanced Corruption Data.

Choose the archive folder

Select the folder whose files you want represented in the manifest. Turn on Include Subfolders only when nested folders belong to the verification scope.

Set an optional filename filter

Leave the filter empty to include every supported file in scope, or enter the intended alternatives separated by semicolons. Review the measured scope before continuing.

Choose the output folder

Select where Creator should save the manifest. Follow Archive Folder keeps output with the selected archive; a separate output folder can be useful when the archive is read-only or verification data is stored independently.

Decide whether to create enhanced evidence

Turn on Enhanced Corruption Data when future percentage matching and chunk-level analysis will be useful. It adds processing and output data but preserves more diagnostic evidence.

Create

Creator validates access and output writability, measures the selected scope, calculates SHA-256 data and reports progress for each file.

Review the evidence

Check Created, Skipped, Failed and Warning totals. Inspect Results, Creation Summary and Activity Log before distributing the manifest with the archive.

Save structured views if needed

Use the available save/export actions for human-readable or structured evidence. Portable verification export is available only from a completed run that contains complete enhanced evidence.
