Start your first run

Choose a world size and difficulty, start a run and learn what the field is telling you.

Start the game

Open the package folder and run letter-invaders-monogame.exe (the game keeps its internal project name). Press ENTER on the title screen.

Choose a world size and difficulty

UP/DOWN picks the world size (Tiny to Max). LEFT/RIGHT picks the difficulty; Medium is the reference game. ENTER starts the run.

Type what falls

Single letters are destroyed by their key. A word locks when you type its first letter; finish it before it reaches the ground. Hold a conga line key to pop the whole line.

Watch the health rail

Every letter that reaches the ground costs health. Destroying letters, words and conga lines restores some, depending on the difficulty.

Confirm the result

At Level 100 a Free run finishes with the completion screen. Your score enters the Top 1000 table of that world size and difficulty.
