Current Utilities components

Current NourForge Utilities use third-party components including:

• .NET — Microsoft’s application platform and runtime components, under the licences applicable to the distributed components.
• Avalonia UI, including related UI packages — MIT License.
• Inter font — SIL Open Font License 1.1.
• NAudio — MIT License, used where audio support is present.
• MKVToolNix — an external dependency used by MKV Batch Manager and separately obtained under MKVToolNix’s own licence terms.

The exact third-party notice and licence files shipped with each installer are authoritative for that released build. Product updates may add, remove or update components.

Letter Mayhem components

NourForge Letter Mayhem™ (Windows desktop, Free and Full editions) uses third-party components including:

• MonoGame Framework (DesktopGL) — Microsoft Public License (Ms-PL), with portions under the MIT License.
• SDL2 (Simple DirectMedia Layer) — zlib License.
• OpenAL Soft — GNU Library General Public License, version 2 (LGPL-2.0), supplied as a separately replaceable dynamic library.
• NVorbis — MIT License.
• Bouncy Castle Cryptography for .NET — MIT License, used by the NourForge licensing client.
• System.Security.Cryptography.ProtectedData and the .NET runtime (Microsoft / .NET Foundation) — MIT License.
• Inconsolata font (The Inconsolata Project Authors) — SIL Open Font License 1.1, rasterised for the game’s text.

The game’s own code, artwork, word lists, sound effects and music are original NourForge work. The THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt file installed beside the game contains the full licence texts and is authoritative for that released build.

Trademarks

Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. Their mention identifies compatibility or included components and does not imply endorsement.
